ABOUT US

In Karnataka, Our Karnataka Nadar sangam was established in 1963 to bring together the people who belong to Nadar communities as one family.  In the beginning the sangam functioned for few years fruitfully. However, after few years in 1980 Karnataka Nadar community seva sangam started better functioning and it changed its name as Karnataka Nadar Sangam. Many committed people served this sangam as presidents, secretaries, treasurers voluntarily for the upliftment of the Nadar community, mainly in Bangalore. Most prominent people/pillars who dedicated to the growth of the sangam were   PalanisamyNadar, BalasundaramNadar, SomasundaramNadar, ShanmugakaniNadar, MahendranNadar, ThangaduraiNadar, SureshKumarNadar, R K ChandrasegaraNadar, RenganathanNadar, NareshNadar, etc. We are proud to say Mrs.Kamaladevi Balasundaram, gave the vote of thanks, in the 1963 event.

In the year 1996, the association took shape into a exclusive Hindu Nadar association with PalanisamyNadar as Chairman, BalasundaramNadar as President, MahendranNadar as secretary, ManickyamNadar as Treasurer, Mr.RenganathanNadar as joint secretary, in the beginning.

Our Karnataka(Ka) Hindu(hi) Nadar(na) Association is fondly called as KAHINA association too.
